All Ahead Full

Have you ever had the distinct feeling that your life was taking off and going faster and faster and there’s no way you can stop it? That’s how I’ve been feeling lately.

Don’t get me wrong, I mean this in absolutely the best way. It’s just crazy how much can happen in such a short amount of time! If you follow my Instagram, you know I’ve been all over the place, and if you check out my Features page, you’ll see there are several new things that have been added. For example, I wrote an Insider Guide to Paris with Dame Traveler, was featured on Humans of Paris, and was the principal author of Hostelgeeks’ Geeky Guide to Paris. And this was all within the last week! Talk about moving quickly. Tack this onto preparing visa renewal and social security paperwork as well as preparing to officially move in with D and you can see how it could be overwhelming. Truth be told, I love it- I adore this city and enjoy sharing its little gems with the world. However, we’re in the middle of a nasty heatwave that is making me wonder how I survived in North Carolina for 22 summers. Maybe because everything there is air conditioned? Anyways, I digress. TL;DR life is busy but really exciting.

I have many, many more projects, features and posts in the works that I can’t wait to share. I know I keep saying that, but some of them I can’t talk about until they’re complete, so in the meantime, here are a few photos I’ve snapped in the past few weeks running around Paris, collecting info and spending time with friends.

Incidentally, all ahead full is boat speak for the speed the Titanic was going when it hit the iceberg. It seemed appropriate though- things can go fast, I just have to keep an eye out and try not to run into anything that will stop me permanently. Easier said than done, right? Oh well, never stopped me before.
