At the risk of sounding like a pretentious snob, once you’ve had crêpes in the region from which they originated- the Bretagne region on the northwest coast of France- they’re just not the same anywhere else. Although getting a crêpe in Paris is an important rite of passage for any first-time visitors to the City of Lights, or France itself for that matter, it’s hard to find any that measure up to the spectacular specimens found out on the coast. This place did pretty well, while also not being terribly expensive even by Paris standards. If you ever find yourself in the area of Saint Michel, wander down la Rue Saint-André des Arts- I’d recommend this little crêperie!
