Living In A Postcard

My previous posts have pretty much outlined what we did on this trip- a little bit of skiing for me/a lot for my host family, lots of hiking, lots of photography, and learning to fly- so I’ll just let these photos speak for themselves. There’s a spot called Les Confins that’s just up the mountain from our chalet, so I took the bus/walked up there numerous times over the course of the week to wander around, watch the cross-country skiers, and generally just take in the immense beauty of the Alps, so unlike that of my own beloved Appalachian mountains.

Breathtaking, right? Almost enough to make even this die-hard beach girl strap on her snowshoes and change alliances.
