Every once in awhile, even in a city filled with decadent pastries and delicious tarts, you just need a good piece of cake.
My lovely Irish bartender friend who works Wednesday nights at the bar where my friends and I go to open mic night suggested Sugarplum Cake Shop for a rendez-vous, and I was more than happy to oblige. Give me some decent frosting and I’ll be happy as a clam anywhere, but the good company made it all the more worth it.
